Photos and Images

• When you use Capto to create stories, you select photos from your device's photo library
• Important: Selected photos are temporarily uploaded to our Cloudflare Worker backend for AI analysis
• Photos are used ONLY for caption generation and are NOT stored permanently on our servers
• All uploaded photos are automatically deleted immediately after processing completes (typically within 3-10 seconds)
• Photo transmission is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS for security
• We never share your photos with third parties beyond our AI service provider

Topic Text

• The story topic you enter (e.g., "Sunrise hike through the Alps") is sent to our backend service to generate AI-powered captions
• This text is combined with your photos for AI analysis
• A truncated version (up to 200 characters) may be stored temporarily in our analytics system for service improvement
