How it's generated:

• First, we attempt to use your Mac's hardware UUID (provided by Apple's IOKit framework)
• If unavailable, we generate a random UUID and store it locally on your device

• To operate our invite code system
• To prevent abuse and fraud (e.g., limiting invite code redemptions per device)
• To track your monthly usage quota
